Can you monitor the system I already have in my home?

If you own your system, in most cases, yes! There are a few systems that we are unable to immediately monitor, such as the older technologies and some "proprietary" systems. We can tell you over the phone if you can take advantage of our offer right away. Our fully trained alarm technicians will come to your home or business to program and fully test your systems in less than an hour. What if I don’t have a system now? Can you provide one?

KMG Security offers a full line of security products and we pride ourselves on the new systems we install. Having over 10 years in the alarm industry assures you that your new KMG Security system will be the best available to fit your needs.

What type of equipment do you carry?

KMG Security uses only quality security alarm equipment manufactured by GE Security, Ademco/Honeywell and DSC, as well as others. Click here for more information.

What is the warranty policy on your systems and how much extra must I pay for the peace of mind of an extended warranty offer?

At KMG Security we take care of our customers by offering an initial 90 day parts and labor warranty. You may opt for the extended warranty plan, which will cover parts and labor as long as you’re a monitored customer.

I’m renting the home where I’m living. Can you put a system in for me?

With the property owner’s permission, we can install a state-of-the-art system that you can take with you if you ever relocate. If within Central Florida, KMG Security can then re-install the system in your new home, apartment or business.

What about the billing? How do I pay?

You can use your MasterCard, Visa, or check to pay for your new system or to upgrade your current system. Monitoring services can be paid monthly or annually. Monthly monitoring payments are drafted from your credit card or checking account.

Does Internet based phone service like VOIP cause a problem?

While alarm systems can work using VOIP, it is not recommended. If your house loses power or internet connectivity and your alarm was triggered, it would not send a signal to the monitoring station.

Can I Have An Alarm System Without A Phone Line?

Yes! We can monitor your alarm system using the newest digital cellular service, specifically designed for alarm transmission data.

If the power goes out, will my system continue to work?

Yes! Your KMG Security alarm system is equipped with a battery backup, so your protection will not be interrupted after a power failure.
